This policy explains what information the Cuepin app collects, why, and what choices you have. Cuepin has no user accounts and does not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
Your videos and notes stay on your device
Cuepin plays video files that you choose from your phone's storage. The videos, course lists, playback progress, pins and notes are stored only on your device. We do not upload, copy or see them. Android cloud backup is turned off for the app. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is deleted from your device.
Information collected by third-party services
The app uses Google services for advertising, analytics and crash reports. They collect some information automatically:

This information is sent over an encrypted connection. It is processed by Google under its own terms: see Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Consent and your choices
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the app: Settings → Ad choices.
- You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your Android settings (Google → Ads, or Privacy → Ads).
- You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the app.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers listed above, for the purposes listed above, or when required by law.
Data retention and deletion
Data collected by Google services is kept according to Google's retention settings (analytics data for up to 14 months). Because the app has no accounts, we cannot link this data to you; to request deletion of data associated with your device, write to the address below and we will forward your request to Google where possible.
Children
Cuepin is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
